Binzhou is a hilly and gully region of Longdong Loess Plateau. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. Jinghe River obliquely crosses the central part from northwest to southeast, dividing Binzhou into two platforms, northeast and southwest, and both platforms are inclined to the lower reaches of Jinghe River.
