The rapid expansion of computer application field and the increasingly complex problems it deals with provide a broad development space for the research, development and application of computer system software and application software. The Department of Software Technology faces the technical problems of software engineering and software design, with a wide range of students' output, involving all fields and levels of IT industry. The training target of this department is middle and senior software technical talents in software enterprises, and their basic abilities should reach the level of senior programmers, system designers and system analysts (in line with international standards). Students have the ability to participate in the development, maintenance and management of large-scale system software and application software projects after graduation.

Software system design major-strengthen the study of theoretical courses such as compilation technology, operating system, database and computer network, and strengthen the training of modern software system analysis and design methods such as object-oriented technology, so that students can thoroughly understand software requirements, architecture and development process control, and cultivate senior technical talents with the ability to independently undertake software development projects and participate in large-scale software system development organization.

Telecom software engineering major-to cultivate senior technical talents who master the basic theories and methods of computer application and modern communication technology, have a sense of modern software engineering technology, have a good understanding of modern telecom business and telecom operation support and management system, and have the ability to independently undertake or participate in the development of telecom software engineering projects.

Information security engineering major-pays attention to the combination of information security theory and application technology, and emphasizes the cultivation of thinking and strategy design ability of constructing information protection system and implementing information security strategic management, so that students can be competent for network and system security analysis, design and management.

Embedded technology department

Embedded system is the product of the combination of computer technology, semiconductor technology and electronic technology with specific applications in various industries, and it is a comprehensive technical discipline. The application of embedded system is becoming more and more popular, covering many industrial fields, such as machinery manufacturing, smart home appliances, communication, information agriculture, military equipment, etc., but the training and reserve of relevant technical talents in China is relatively weak. Embedded system design includes application system development based on existing platforms and software and hardware system design for special applications, involving computer software technology and hardware technology including integrated circuits. The Department of Embedded Technology gives consideration to these two kinds of problems and technologies, and trains compound senior embedded system design talents with solid knowledge of computer systems, mastering embedded system design technology and skillfully using software and hardware design tools.

Embedded system design major-Embedded system design method involves software and hardware co-design, system-level design, digital system design and other aspects, involves complex issues such as system requirements description, software and hardware function division, system co-simulation, optimization, system synthesis, and involves knowledge in computer system structure, operating system, input and output system and other fields. This major emphasizes the embedded software design technology and the understanding of the platform-based embedded software development process and environment, so that students have the ability to design high-availability embedded systems.

System-on-a-Chip design major-The production process of industrial integrated circuits includes front-end design, back-end design, chip manufacturing and packaging testing. This major emphasizes the system-level design technology of integrated circuit chips, and trains senior technical talents who understand the basic theory and design methods of integrated circuits, master integrated circuit design tools, be familiar with computers, signal systems, communication systems and other related knowledge, and have the ability of system chip design, analysis and innovation.
