Brief introduction of Chengdu municipal engineering design and research institute

The hospital consists of six production units, two auxiliary production service departments and six management departments. Six production units are: Road and Bridge Design Institute, Water Supply and Drainage Design Institute, Architecture and Landscape Design Institute, Henderson Project Supervision Department, Municipal Engineering Survey Team and a branch company, two auxiliary production service departments are Science and Technology Consulting Department and Technology Association Service Center, and six management departments are: Institute Office, Planning Office, Chief Engineer Office, Ideological and Political Work Office, Finance Office and Diversified Management Committee. The institute undertakes eleven kinds of engineering design and related public professional tasks (including technical economy and budgetary estimate) such as water supply engineering, drainage engineering, thermal engineering, road engineering, bridge and tunnel engineering, public transportation engineering, subway light rail engineering, manned ropeway engineering, landscape engineering, environmental sanitation engineering and civil engineering, and can also undertake engineering consultation, engineering survey, engineering supervision and related business work. Employees 189 (including external technical consultants and backbones), including doctors 1 and graduate students 15. 2 first-class registered architects, 3 first-class registered structural engineers, 4 second-class registered architects, and national registered cost engineer 1; There are 5 professor-level senior engineers, 57 senior engineers, 59 engineers and 33 assistant engineers and other technicians. The institute has strong technical and economic strength and has accumulated rich experience in design, operation and management in long-term practice. At present, advanced professional software such as CAD and PKPM have been widely used in the hospital, and the computer drawing rate has reached 100%.

The purpose of the institute is: to be realistic and innovative, to forge ahead, to design carefully, to provide quality service, and to carry out production and business activities on the principles of honesty, credit, equality and mutual benefit, and fair competition. With the further deepening of reform and opening up and the rapid development of national urban infrastructure construction, the business scope of the institute is also expanding and the business volume is also increasing. Based in Chengdu, we have participated in the municipal construction of Lhasa, Linzhi, Zhuhai, Guangdong, Beihai, Guangxi and the Three Gorges reservoir area, as well as foreign aid projects in Nepal, Yemen, Iraq and Austria.

The hospital insists on serving and building Chengdu as its own responsibility, and has devoted two generations' efforts and wisdom to this end, from the overall urban flood control planning to the detailed urban sewage and rainwater drainage planning, from the first ring road to the second ring road, from Shudu Avenue to Shuncheng Street expansion, from the design of Chengdu sewage main pipe to the solid waste sanitary treatment plant project, and from the comprehensive renovation project of Funan River and its cross-century project-No.5 Road and Bridge Project which extends to Chengdu's eastward expansion strategy. At present, Chengdu No.2 Sewage Treatment Plant has undertaken more than 95% of the municipal engineering design tasks, and has made great contributions to Chengdu's municipal infrastructure construction, including sewage trunk project, Shahe comprehensive improvement project, unblocked project, reclaimed water reuse project and the Master Plan for Comprehensive Improvement of Water Environment in Central City (sewage treatment implementation plan). At the same time, the hospital has also made satisfactory achievements for the municipal construction of many cities inside and outside the province.
