By March 6, 2023, the Xinyang Expressway in Sihong section has completed the reconstruction and expansion project, and the current situation is a two-way four-lane expressway. After reconstruction and expansion, the total length of S34 Expressway is about 45 kilometers, the pavement width reaches 33 meters, the subgrade width reaches 52 meters, and the design speed is 120 kilometers per hour.

After reconstruction and expansion, the expressway can better meet the transportation demand, improve the traffic efficiency of the road network and facilitate people's travel.
