Founded in 1986, the school is a national key technical college approved by the provincial government, headed by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and guided by the Provincial Department of People's Social Welfare. 1999 was renamed as Henan Coal Technical School, and was recognized as a senior technical school by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in 2008. 20 16 was renamed Henan Industrial and Informational Senior Technical School.
