Panshi Town is located on the south bank of the new city in Yunyang County, across the river from Yunyang New County. It is one of the four ancient towns in Yunyang County, a key town for the relocation of immigrants in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, a Chongqing municipal pilot town, and a Chongqing municipal pilot town. One of the top 100 economic towns, the postal code is 3256031. The geographical coordinates are 180○39'-44' east longitude and 30○50'-55' north latitude. It borders Fengming Town and Yuanzhuang Township in the east, Baiyang Town in Wanzhou District in the south, Jiulong Township in the west, and the Yangtze River in the north. It is named after the huge stone shaped like a millstone beside the Zhenjiang River. Panshi Town is only 1,300 meters away from Yunyang New Town; it is 288 kilometers away from Yichang City in the east; 337 kilometers away from Chongqing City and 42 kilometers away from Wanzhou Wuqiao Airport in the west. After the administrative division adjustment in 2006, Panshi Town was renamed Panlong Town, which governed the original administrative areas of Panshi Town and Jiulong Township, with an area of ??92.71 square kilometers, a total population of 49,468, and 22 administrative villages and 2 communities. The town government is located in Panshi, Panshi Street Community, Panshi Town (original Panshi Town Government is located). In 2010, Panlong Town was abolished and Panlong Street was established.
