How to apply for an American visa for an emergency interview?

Step 1:

Fill in the electronic application form for non-immigrant visa (DS- 160).

Step two:

Pay the visa application fee.

Step 3:

Schedule the interview time online and choose the earliest interview date. Please note that the general interview time must be arranged before you can apply for an expedited interview date. When arranging the interview time, a message will appear on the screen, showing the earliest interview date (including emergency interview). If there is no earlier interview date, there is no need to apply for an expedited interview.

Step 4:

If the embassy or consulate general approves the application, you will receive an email reminding you to arrange an emergency interview online. If the embassy or consulate refuses to apply for an expedited interview, you will receive a corresponding email notice, and you should continue to use the current appointment interview time.

Step five:

Please come to the American embassy or consulate general for an interview at the appointed time. You need to bring a printed letter of appointment, a printed confirmation page of DS- 160 form, photos of the last six months and all new and old passports. If any of the above materials is missing, the application will not be accepted. Meanwhile, if you have other supporting documents, please bring them with you during the interview.

You should put your urgent confirmation letter, forwarding confirmation letter and all required documents in a postal envelope and bring them to the following CITIC Bank outlets:

After your visa is reviewed, the embassy or consulate will return your passport/materials to the business outlet of CITIC Bank that you originally chose to submit. When your passport/certificate is returned to China CITIC Bank, you will receive an email with a "tracking number". If your visa is issued, it will be affixed to your passport.
