The Taiwan Permit (Pass for Mainland Residents to Travel to and from the Taiwan Area) is a travel pass issued by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China to mainland residents traveling to Taiwan. When entering Taiwan, it will be inspected together with the Taiwan Entry Permit issued by the Entry-Exit and Immigration Bureau of the Ministry of Interior in Taiwan.

Mainland residents traveling to Taiwan need to apply for a "Mainland Residents Travel Permit to and from the Taiwan Area" and a group travel endorsement.
