Official website, Australian Immigration Bureau, shows that from June 1 1, 2065438, the test scores of TOEFL iBT and PTE Academic will be accepted and recognized by all visa categories.
These three tests were accepted by the student visa system from 2011,and now they are extended to other visa systems, which also shows that the Immigration Bureau intends to enrich the current ways of English proficiency certification. I believe that in the near future, various Australian immigrant vocational assessment agencies will gradually recognize language scores other than IELTS to cater to this policy.
It will be good news for students who plan to immigrate to Australia through studying abroad. For example, IELTS 47, which was originally difficult to break through, and TOEFL 98 can be easily achieved.
