Matters needing attention in studying in Denmark
1, apply for the school
To apply for studying in Denmark, you can go directly to the website of Danish University, contact the International Student Department or the Admissions Office of the school you want to apply for by email, briefly introduce yourself and ask for the application form. Many schools' application forms can be downloaded and used directly on their websites.
Fill in the application form and mail it to the school together with relevant certificates and copies (unless the original is needed). Schools that meet the requirements will generally send admission notices directly.
Step 2 apply for a passport
The procedure for applying for a passport for studying abroad is the same in all countries. Please refer to the relevant introduction of passport application on this website.
Step 3 apply for a visa
With the admission notice, you can go to the consulate to fill out the application form for studying abroad and prepare relevant materials, valid for 1 year.
Step 4 enter
Denmark is a small country, most of which enter Copenhagen. There is a train station on the first floor of Copenhagen airport, where you can buy air tickets from all over the world. Students under the age of 26 can apply for the "wild card" of Danish National Railway (DSB) here with their passports, and they can enjoy preferential fares for young people with this card. You can get a replacement card then, and the official card will be sent to the address in a week or two.
Step 5 register at school
The general school will prepare an admission guide for you and go through the admission procedures according to the arrangement of the school. Some schools have temporary accommodation and need to find their own houses in the future.
6. Apply for Huang Ka (because the card is yellow)
In the commune (Kommune) where Danish students want to work, they registered their population and got the slogan "Personnummer". You will receive Huang Ka in a week or two, and then you can enjoy free Danish medical care and library resources.
7. Work permit and tax card
Students in Denmark can apply for a work permit as long as they fill out the application form at the Public Security Bureau. It is equally simple to apply for a tax card, but if you want to apply for a high tax card, you need proof from your work unit.
8. Handle a bank account.
Opening an account is very simple. As long as you show Huang Ka, the staff will fill out the application form for you, and finally you can sign it. After a week, you will receive bank cards and passwords one after another. Call the number in the letter or go to the bank in person to activate your account.
9. Update
The replacement should be handled by the local public security bureau or immigration bureau. The renewal of the second school year in the same school is very simple, and you can even sign it on the spot. Because I don't want to go home during the holiday, it takes more than a month to change my school visa or tourist visa.
