What does homesickness mean?

Homesickness is a Chinese word, and its pinyin is xiāng chóu, which is interpreted as a sad feeling of deeply missing hometown and an emotional state of attachment to hometown. Attachment to the homeland is the same and eternal emotion of human beings. Wanderers, drifters, vagrants and immigrants who are far away from home will miss their hometown.
