My hometown is a small village in the south of Zoucheng. It looks small, but it is beautiful.

In spring, the river beside the village is singing and laughing every day, flowing happily, nourishing the fields in my hometown. Unknown wildflowers are all over the hillside, gathering like a market, attracting countless bees and butterflies, who are dancing among the flowers. The breeze blew through the green wheat fields and rustled like waves.

When summer comes, the lotus in the village east reservoir is slim and graceful, white as snow and pink as chardonnay, and I think of Yang Wanli's poem "Xiao He has just emerged, and a dragonfly has long stood on its head". There are also many fish in the reservoir, which are fat and big. They are in the upper reaches of the water for a while and then sink to the bottom in the blink of an eye.

Autumn is the most beautiful season in my hometown, because the harvest season is here. The heavy ears of grain were bent, brushed cotton hung on the branches, and golden corn was like a stick. The farmer's uncle smiled from ear to ear when he saw this situation.

In winter, after a heavy snow, my hometown became a fairy-tale world of ice and snow. Our friends made snowmen and had snowball fights in the snow, and bursts of laughter echoed in the small village.
