The origin of zhang jia zhuang village name

Zhang jia zhuang is located in Meiyukou, Shimen, Luliang Mountain. 1958 transferred from Xiangning county to Xinjiang county in September. According to legend, five Zhang brothers from somewhere in Jishan settled here and earned their living by quarrying stones, hence the name zhang jia zhuang. Dongzhao is located in the north fork valley of Shimenyu in Luliang Mountain, where there is water. The village is in the east of the swamp, so it was named Dongzhao, and later changed to Dongzhao, which belongs to zhang jia zhuang. Laoaogou, the village is located in the west of the swamp, hence its name. Later, according to the topography, it was changed to Laoaogou, with a concave dialect, belonging to zhang jia zhuang. Nanzhao, located in front of the alluvial fan in Luliang Mountain, was originally a county-run farm, which was revoked on 1982. In order to solve the difficulties of Dongzhao and Laoaogou, the county and local governments decided to transfer the houses and facilities of the farm to two villages for immigration, thus forming a new village. West Temple is located in Xicha Valley, Shimenyu, Luliang Mountain. According to legend, the original Buddhist temple here, hence the name West Temple, belongs to zhang jia zhuang.
