"Two Poems on the Autumn Night as Dawn Goes Out of the Fence Gate to Welcome the Coolness" is a collection of poems written by Lu You, a poet of the Song Dynasty.

One: Far away in the sky, Hanxi falls, and the neighboring chicken crows again and again. When the disease of high ambition comes, all the desires are gone, and when you go out, you scratch your head and feel miserable for the rest of your life.

Translation:

One: The distant Milky Way falls toward the southwest, and the sound of roosters crows continuously in the neighboring house. The disease tortured me and almost wiped out my ambition to save the nation. When I went out and looked around, I couldn't help scratching my white hair and regretting my life.

Second: The 30,000-mile-long Yellow River flows eastward into the sea, and the 5,000-foot-high Huashan Mountain towers into the sky and reaches the blue sky. This set of patriotic poems was written in the autumn of the third year of Shaoxi reign of Emperor Guangzong of the Song Dynasty (1192). At that time, Lu You was sixty-eight years old and returned to Shanyin ( Today's Shaoxing, Zhejiang) hometown has been four years. But the peaceful village life cannot calm the old man's heart. During the Southern Song Dynasty, the Jin soldiers occupied the Central Plains area.
