Changes of place names in Yizhou

The Penghu Islands within the boundaries of Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Xing and Fu are opposite to Ryukyu. "Obviously, Ryukyu refers to Taiwan Province Province. In the Yuan Dynasty, a patrol inspection department was set up in Penghu to collect taxes. Wang Dayuan's "Island Brief" records that Penghu was "placed under Jinjiang County, and a patrol inspection department was set up in the first year", "patrolling on duty, specializing in catching" and concurrently running a "salt class". The Japanese tried to attack the "chicken coop", and Ryukyu Qiuguo sent messengers to inform China to watch out. The above history is the history of Taiwan Province Province before it was occupied by the Dutch. The Dutch government is not the first to rule Taiwan Province province.
