Development Status of Yun 'an Ancient Town

Today, the ancient town of Yun 'an has been completely covered by the Yangtze River. Ancient salt wells, pieces of diaojiao buildings, deep bluestone hutongs and mysterious "Nine Palaces and Eighteen Temples" all disappeared from this land and slept at the bottom of the water. Standing on the ruins of the ancient town of Yun 'an, which is already like a ghost town, I can't help feeling a little sad. This once bustling ancient town has completely disappeared with the rising water level in the Three Gorges reservoir area.

Yun 'an is a big immigrant town of the Three Gorges Project. Since 1999, residents have moved to the new county seat of Yunyang County. As an ancient mountain city with a non-agricultural population, it has now entered a brand-new era.
