Nierji Reservoir is located on the main stream of Nenjiang River at the junction of Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The right bank of the dam site is nierji town, Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the left bank is Erkeqian Township, nehe city City, Heilongjiang Province. The control basin area above the dam site of the hub is 66,400 square kilometers, accounting for 22.4% of the total area of Nenjiang River basin. The normal water level of Nierji Water Control Project is 216.00m, the check flood level is 219.90m, the design flood level is 218.15m, and the flood control level is 218.15m. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 86 1 100 million cubic meters, including 2.368 billion cubic meters for flood control and 5.968 billion cubic meters for Li Xing, with a total installed capacity of 250,000 kilowatts and an average power generation of 638.7 million kwh for many years.
