Cuban immigrant population

Cuba was originally inhabited only by indigenous Indians, but was later slaughtered and expelled by the Spanish or sold off the island as a slave. During the Spanish colonial period, a large number of African slaves were imported for labor and slave trade, which made Cuba a slave distribution center for the whole America, so blacks accounted for almost half of Cuba's total population, and most of the rest were Spanish descendants. There used to be some Chinese in Cuba, especially in Havana, the capital, but after Fidel Castro took office, most of them moved to the United States. In fact, many countries in South America are like this. Colonists account for a large proportion, followed by Indians (who should be the real owners of South American land), and many African slaves, some of whom are Americans. For example, Fidel Castro, the leader of the Cuban revolution, is of Spanish descent, President Morales of Bolivia is Indian, and former dictator Fransois Duvalier of Haiti is black. After the failure of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement, hundreds of Taiping rebels were sold to South America as coolies.
