How long does it take to get a tourist passport to Canada?

To apply for a Canadian tourist passport is to apply for a China citizen's ordinary passport. Generally, it takes 15 days to handle it at the exit-entry administration of the county-level public security bureau where the household registration is located. The specific provisions are:

Article 14 Where a citizen applies for an ordinary passport or an ordinary passport is altered, reissued or renewed, the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ shall issue it within 15 days from the date of receiving the application materials.

Under any of the circumstances specified in Article 5 of these Measures, the exit-entry administrative organ of the public security organ shall issue the application materials within 5 working days from the date of receiving the application materials.
