I am so excited to see this scene. In China, there are such high-rise buildings with complete facilities but few people.

I must settle in Xiamen.

I like the air, the sea and the beach here, and I like that there are few people here.

After the first month, I went to work normally. What is the scene in Xiamen?

It is also a rare 8-lane Xianyue Road in the city center. It's noon 12, 5: 30 in the afternoon, just after work. Traffic jam, let alone other alleys, makes me flustered.

Fortunately, there are no bicycles and motorcycles in Xiamen, otherwise everyone will put their cars in the middle of the road after work, and no one will move.

In fact, the traffic in Xiamen is not chaotic at all, but it is blocked.

Figures on the floating population in Xiamen can be found on the Internet, so it is not meaningful to list them, because most of them are aimed at the whole of Xiamen, not just the data on the island.

Why not count this island?

I have always admitted that several districts outside the island are an inseparable part of Xiamen, and I have not made Xiamen independent! ! !

Because what we want to discuss here is the appearance of Xiamen, most of which are large industrial areas or villages outside the island. Without convenient urban facilities, it is not a city, so according to convention, the omission of Xiamen refers to the main city of Xiamen Island (Gulangyu Island is not included, it is a paradise, otherwise).

According to the people I contact, I can see the population composition of Xiamen.

The main population of Xiamen comes from Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Xiamen Island. They are all from southern Fujian and can speak Minnan dialect.

Other Fujian people who can't speak Minnan dialect mainly come from Longyan, Sanming, Ningde, Putian, Fuzhou and Nanping, and a few people come from other provinces.

But when you count the population of other provinces in Xiamen, you will find that they account for more than half of Xiamen's population, mainly because they live in industrial areas outside the island.

Many mainlanders in Xiamen Island are coal bosses from Shanxi and Henan, or bosses from Taiwan Province Province come to Xiamen to set up factories, and many retired people from Northeast China come to Xiamen to live for life.

Then there are tourists who come to Xiamen. Take Gulangyu Island as an example. The population of the island is less than 20,000, and 1.4 million people visit the island every day.
