Wang chuan zhen is located in the southwest of Qinzhou District, bordering Damenba Town in the east, Mayan Township in huixian city in the south, Kuanchuan Township and Guanbai Township in Lixian County in the west, and Tianshui Town in the north. Area 188.47 km2, rural population of 7956 households with 40653 people (end of 2008). Jurisdiction over 28 administrative villages. The town government is located in Wangchuan Village, 72 kilometers away from the city. The terrain is high in the east and low in the west, forming a narrow valley. The highest altitude 1944m, the lowest altitude 1520m, and the average altitude 1650m. Wangchuan River is a tributary of the Western Han Dynasty. Fan Luo Highway and Wang Su Highway run through the whole territory.
