It is no exaggeration to say that there are too few Sikkim people. Therefore, they are not independent. In order to prevent Sikkim from becoming independent, India absorbed it in an orderly way. On the one hand, it constantly strengthens brainwashing, strengthens Sikkim's recognition of India in education, and requires learning Indian language and understanding Indian customs and history. In addition, Sikkim also built statues of Gandhi in various places, so that Sikkim people were completely integrated into the culture. On the other hand, the Indian government has adopted a buyout policy and allocated funds every year to support the development of Sikkim, so that the income of Sikkim continues to grow. Up to now, Sikkim is one of the three states with the highest per capita income in India, much better than Sikkim Kingdom. So the life of the local people is better than before, and they have been assimilated. How do they become independent?
