What should I pay attention to when studying in Russia?

1. Students studying in the Russian Federation must have medical insurance. Insurance should ensure that the insured can provide services and pay corresponding fees, or even transport (repatriate) to China in case of accidents and sudden illness. If the student's insurance is not covered by Russia's compensation, it is necessary to confirm the cooperation between insurance companies and Russian insurance companies, or provide assistance to international students in other ways.

2. If an international student's personal certificate (passport or other substitute certificate) expires during his/her study in the university, he/she shall go through the formalities of extension or replacement at least five days in advance and submit it to the school management department for replacement of the student ID card.

3. Students who want to apply for extension registration of personal documents should submit them to the school authorities 10 days before the expiration date.

4. When passports or other substitute documents are lost, foreign students should inform the school authorities and the Chinese Embassy in Russia as soon as possible. When you get a new passport, you must register on the same day.

5. When international students need to leave the country (return home on holidays, visit relatives or finish their studies), they must apply for a visa at the school authorities, and the visa processing time is 15 days. When returning to Russia, students should hand in their visas to the competent authorities on the same day.

When students go to other cities in Russia that are open to foreigners, they must apply for a travel permit. The permit notice indicates the destination, itinerary, address and the time of stay in the area.

7. Foreign students studying in Russian cities or regions need to bring official documents.

8. The study time is subject to the official certification documents.

9. When international students graduate or are expelled from school, they need to leave Russia within the time specified by the government (two weeks).

10. Students who violate the current regulations on registration, residence and transit will be given a warning, fined (50% of the minimum amount, converted into rubles), deported, or bear corresponding criminal responsibilities.
