Second, the duration of the study visa

After the student's admission notice and related materials are submitted to the Thai embassy or consulate, they will get a study visa (pictured above). DATEOFISSUE is the date of issuance, and the domestic validity of ENTERBEFORE is to, which is the deadline for entering Thailand. The deadline is 90 days. You must enter Thailand before this time.

After entering Thailand, you can stay in Thailand for 90 days with this study visa, and you can apply for a re-entry permit (that is, sign it back).

A return visa is a functional visa that allows you to return to Thailand and re-enter Thailand within the validity period of the visa. It has two characteristics: 1. The permit is attached to multiple entry visas (such as student visas and work visas) and expires at the same time as the visa. 2. Backsign can be divided into single sign and multiple sign. After obtaining it, you can be allowed to re-enter Thailand within the visa time.

Students with study visas can apply for visas at the airport or immigration office. If you need to return to China, you should apply for a return visa at the airport (that is, sign or seal the return visa).

During the period from 46 days before the expiration of the study visa to the expiration of the visa, it is necessary to renew the study visa, and you need to bring relevant documents and transcripts when renewing it. There are requirements for students' GPA, and the undergraduate course is GPA 1.5. If your grades are low, it may take a short time to renew your visa for studying abroad, and you may even be refused. The renewal period of study visa is generally one year.

Third, Thailand study visa process

Step 1: Apply for a study abroad program in Thailand.

The application process of different institutions will be different, but the materials needed are generally the same: application form, diploma notarial certificate or diploma letter, diploma notarial certificate, passport, recommendation letter, etc. It is very important that the application for studying abroad will not be fully confirmed until the Thai school receives the relevant application fee and tuition fees.

Step 2: Get the admission notice.

Once your application for studying in Thailand is successfully accepted, the school will send an admission notice, which is not only a ticket for admission, but also a ticket for applying for a student visa. The study visa in Thailand will only be granted to those who really want to study abroad, and will not be granted to those who want to visit Thailand during the holidays. So you need to register for at least three courses each semester to prove that you are an international student rather than a traveler.

Step 3: Apply for a visa.

With the letter of admission, you need a passport valid for more than half a year and a recent passport-sized photo to apply for a study visa in embassies and consulates in China, Thailand. If you apply for a tourist visa and go to Thailand, because the tourist visa allows you to stay in Thailand for 60 days, it is best to change it into a study visa within the first 30 days, and the next 30 days need to be reserved for applying for a non-immigrant ed visa.

The photos required for the application should be accompanied by my signature, and signed with a blue ballpoint pen or pen. The number of photos required is uncertain. Some embassies need two photos, while others need four photos. The more you prepare, the better, because there are still many forms to fill out and photos are needed. Experienced people not only bring passport-sized photos, but also bring some other sizes when applying.
