Historical evolution of Jieyang

Jieyang is an ancient city in eastern Guangdong, a famous historical and cultural city in Guangdong Province, and one of the oldest counties in Guangdong Province. It has a long history of more than 2,200 years. Rongjiang Valley in China was once the regional center of ancient eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian, and the birthplace of Chaoshan culture.
