The origin of Chaoshan people

The ancestors of Chaoshan people came from Guyue nationality.

Generally speaking, the frequency division is quite different from the southern minorities, close to the Miao nationality and highly coincident with the Han nationality in Taihang Mountain, Henan Province.

Chaoshan people in the world originated in Chaoshan area of China and Guangdong, and all the dynasties belonged to Chaozhou Prefecture. Chaoshan, formerly known as Chaozhou, is now called Shantou, 1983-199 1. Shantou is divided into Shantou, Chaozhou, Jieyang and Shanwei, which are four cities in Chaoshan, and Fengshun County in Meizhou is collectively called Chaoshan area. It has always been a commodity distribution center in eastern Guangdong, southeastern Jiangxi and southwestern Fujian, and Chaoshan people call it the "national corner at the end of the province". There are mountains on three sides and sea on one side. The Tropic of Cancer runs through it and the climate is pleasant. Although there are abundant Chaoshan plains in the territory, it is not easy to survive, and typhoons and earthquakes often occur. Moreover, the land is small and the population is large, with a total area of 1.09 1.8 square kilometers, a registered population of nearly 1.5 million, and per capita arable land is less than 3 points. It has the reputation of "cultivating fields like embroidery".
