Xinshao Xiaoxi National Wetland Park is located in the middle and west of Xinshao County, the geographical center of Hunan Province. Located in the hinterland of central Hunan, the center of urban agglomeration in central Hunan. It mainly includes the Zishui section from Shaigutan Dam to Xiaoxiba, Mashijiang section from Wuxing Dam to Xiaohekou, Longxi River, Xia Yuan Reservoir, Yanggu 'ao and other waters, beaches and surrounding mountains and paddy fields. The protection scope takes Zijiang River, Mashijiang River and Longxi River as the axis and Yanggu 'ao as the link. Xiaomiaotou in the territory is the dividing point of the middle and upper reaches of Zishui River. Zishui Gorge is long, with varied canyons and karst landforms. It is known for its narrowness, danger and beauty, and is known as the "Little Three Gorges". Wetland park is rich in water and clear in water quality, reaching the national class III standard; There are 864 species of vascular plants belonging to 540 genera in 155 families, including 72 families, 2 genera, 3 species 1 7 species of wetland plants, 1 species/kloc-0 species of national first-class protected plants and 5 species of national second-class protected plants. Sungutan, Zhu Tong Beach, Xikou, Jiangjiaao and other places are rich in aquatic plants, and mandarin ducks, mallard ducks and spotted-billed ducks often fly and play, becoming their permanent wintering places and habitats.
