According to the Education Law of the People's Republic of China and the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), in order to maintain a fair educational environment in China, and in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on Recruiting Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities, the following supplementary provisions are made for colleges and universities to accept residents from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to study in China as foreign students after emigrating:
