Is Anqing in southern Anhui or northern Anhui?

It is neither southern Anhui nor northern Anhui. According to Baidu map, Anqing City is located in the middle of Anhui Province, belonging to the middle of Anhui Province, not in the south of Anhui Province, nor in the north. Anqing is located in the southwest of Anhui province, at the junction of Anhui, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces, and on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Now it has jurisdiction over Tongcheng, Buried Hill, Huaining, Yuexi, Taihu Lake, Wangjiang, Susong, Yingjiang, Daguan and Yixiu.
