The head of the Exit-Entry Administration Department of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau revealed to the press yesterday that there are new rules for couples to settle in Macao. From now on, couples who want to settle in Macao must send relevant information to Macao for verification.

According to the new regulations, before approval, the exit-entry administration department of the prefecture-level city public security bureau must report the applicant's name, marriage certificate and ID card to the exit-entry administration department of the provincial public security department, which will send the above information to the Macao Identity Certificate Bureau to verify the marital status of his spouse in Australia. If the relationship between husband and wife is verified by Macao, it shall be examined and approved by the mainland exit-entry administration department according to the results of Macao audit, and the exit-entry administration department of the provincial public security department shall arrange to leave the country and settle down according to the applicant's score.
