The specific process is as follows:

1. Consult the household registration management public security department of the place of residence to learn about the documents and materials required for household registration transfer application.

2. Submit the household registration transfer application and provide various materials and certificates as required. For example: materials required for investment immigration; admission letters required for admission to colleges and universities, marriage certificates required for marriage, etc.

3. The household registration department in the place of relocation will review the submitted application and attached materials. If it passes the review, a "Certificate of Approval to Move in" will be issued, which is the permit to move in. If the conditions are not met, the public security organs will issue a specific explanation. For example: the submitted materials are incomplete and need to be resubmitted for review.

4. The current place of residence will send you the required materials and certificates. After bringing various certificates and relocation certificates, go to the police station of the current place of residence to submit a move-out application.

5. If the current household registration police station approves, the household registration will be moved out and a household registration transfer certificate will be issued. If you do not meet the conditions, you will need to complete the application to pass.

6. When all the procedures are passed, a new household registration book will be issued and a new ID card will be issued. The ID card cannot be applied for immediately, so it is best not to hand in the existing ID card first.

Proof materials:

1. For marriage and relocation, hold a legal marriage (divorce) certificate;

10. To hire civil servants and recruit employees to transfer their registered residence, hold a certificate of employment (recruitment) and the "Registration Form for Transferred Personnel";

15. For household registration transfers related to professional titles, positions, academic qualifications, honors, length of service, age, etc., you must hold the corresponding certificate (employment) letter and proof of length of service and age;
