The concept of matching in epidemiology

Matching is also called matching in epidemiology.

If age is used as a matching factor, when analyzing and comparing the two groups of data, we can avoid the influence of the difference of age composition between the two groups on diseases and factors, so as to explain the relationship between the studied factors and diseases more accurately.
