Nanning (Zhuang language: Nanzningz), referred to as "Tanzhou" for short, is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China, the largest city in Guangxi, the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of Guangxi, the core city of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, and the permanent venue of China-ASEAN Expo.
