The British Consulate General in Hong Kong has informed the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region that from April 6, 2002, Macao Special Administrative Region passport holders can enter the UK visa-free and stay for up to six months.

In addition, from now on, Macao SAR passport holders can also directly transit through the restricted area of the British airport without a visa.

British citizens can enter the Macao Special Administrative Region visa-free.
