Yuan Sha, less than 6 years old, studied guzheng. At the age of ten, he was admitted to the primary school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music, and then he was sent to the middle school affiliated to the Stroke Conservatory of Music. He studied undergraduate and graduate students successively, and studied under Tommy. Yuan Sha received a master's degree in Guzheng in 2003, and is currently teaching at the Central Conservatory of Music.
