Biographical notes

Mai Jia, who won the Best Actor Award in the Second Hong Kong Film Awards with Sammo Hung, moved to Hong Kong in 1958, studied at Chongxin English College in middle school, moved to new york in the United States in 1963, studied electronic engineering at Brooklyn Institute of Technology in new york, worked as an engineer in the local telephone company for several years in 1969, and then returned to the university to study film production.

1973 After returning to Hong Kong, he successively established Pioneer Film Company, Garbo Film Company, Struggle Film Company and Art Nouveau Film Company with many young filmmakers such as Richard Ng, Guy Lai,,, and so on. In the meantime, he participated in many blockbusters, including the best partner series and the 30 million windfall. 199 1 year, with the disintegration of the new art city, Mai Jia faded out of the film industry.
