How to certify the translation of China driver's license?
You directly take a) the original driver's license, b) the ID card and c) the household registration book, and then go to the local qualified notary office for notarization.
When you go in, tell the staff that you are going to notarize your driver's license and he will give you a form. You can fill it out yourself. If you don't understand, you can ask the staff what language they need. Just fill in "English" (English is the common language of European countries). Remember to make it clear when notarization-after notarization, you have to go to the local foreign affairs office for certification and consulate certification. So the staff will know that you want a driver's license in duplicate. (If you are a foreign driver's license, the notary office staff can't link to the local official website on the Internet. You should provide the record of your violation, and your driver's license number and name must be on the record, because only if your foreign driver's license is recognized by the local traffic police department will you be issued a ticket, so your driver's license will be true. In this way, the local notary office will also think that your driver's license is true.
The time to collect the notarial certificate is within five working days, so I can't get it on the same day. On the third day, I received a phone call to pick it up. When the notarial certificate is given to you, one can be opened directly and the other is sealed. In fact, there is another identical notarial certificate in it. Don't open it, remember, otherwise it can't be authenticated.
Then, go to the local foreign affairs office for certification. The acceptance time is only every afternoon 1, 3 and 5, and it will not be accepted at other times. You can directly give the seal of the notary office to the staff. The pick-up time is every week 1~ 5 pm.
The certification fee for the foreign affairs office is:
General (5 working days, excluding the date of receipt): 50 yuan/piece,
Expedited (2 working days, excluding the date of receipt): 100 Yuan/piece,
Expedited (1 working day, not counting the date of receipt): 150 yuan/piece.
According to your personal time, you will find a small note on the last page of the original notarial certificate, which proves that the notary's signature is true, and it is stamped with the "Special Seal for Certificates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China".
The purpose of foreign affairs office certification is to prove that the seal on the notarial certificate and the signature of the notary are true.
Finally, go to the consulate for certification, and take your two notarial certificates (one of which was visible to you at that time and the other was certified by the Foreign Affairs Office) to the consulate for certification. Remember to take it in the morning and the next day. It is said that the cost is 370 yuan/film.
On the notarial certificate, there will be a small note with a blue stamp under the original foreign affairs office certification.
This completes the notarization of the driver's license. If you rent a car abroad, you must remember to bring two notarized certificates and your original driver's license.
