Why is Haining dialect similar to Shanghai dialect and much worse than Hangzhou dialect?

Because Haining belongs to Jiaxing, Jiaxing has a close relationship with Shanghai since ancient times. Due to the geographical relationship, folk customs and cultural heritage are deeply influenced by Shanghai. There is an old saying in China that there is a dialect in ten miles. Although Haining is close to Hangzhou, it belongs to Jiaxing. Hangzhou and Shanghai have different regional cultures and humanistic ideas.
