Introduction of Changde Vocational and Technical College:

Changde Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive higher vocational college organized by Hunan Provincial People's Government, supervised by Changde Municipal People's Government and managed by Hunan Provincial Department of Education. Approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government in April 2003, it was formed by the merger of Changde Agricultural School, Changde Health School and Changde Electromechanical Engineering School.

The earliest school-running of the College can be traced back to Hunan Agricultural School founded in Changsha in 1905 (the 31st year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty).

In 2006, the college won the excellent grade in the evaluation of the talent training work level of the Ministry of Education, and 20 1 1 passed the second evaluation of the talent training work of the Ministry of Education. 20 12 became a model higher vocational college in Hunan province; 20 14 has become a single enrollment college in Hunan Province, and it is a national training base for skilled nursing professionals.
