Overview of Ontario, Canada

Ontario (English: Ontario), referred to as Ontario. Located in the eastern part of Canada, covering an area of ??about 1 million square kilometers, Canada's capital, Ottawa, is also in Ontario. Ontario is Canada's most populous province. Ontario is bounded by Hudson Bay to the north, Quebec to the east, Manitoba to the west, and the U.S. states of Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York to the south. Ontario's border with the United States is basically all rivers or lakes, from Lake Forest in the west to the St. Lawrence River in Cornwall in the east. This includes Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario among the five Great Lakes (Ontario is named after this, "Ontario" means beautiful lake in Iroquois). Ontario has approximately 25,000 lakes and more than 100,000 kilometers of rivers.
