During the Han and Jin Dynasties, the sea routes in the Pearl River Delta were quite developed, and ships from Guangzhou to Cangwu and Jiaozhi traveled frequently. Since Longjiang was located at the strategic intersection between Guangzhou and Cangwu, large ships often anchored on the beach under Fengshan Mountain. However, at that time, By the Song Dynasty, the beach had turned into land. By the Qing Dynasty, when someone was building a house here and digging a foundation, they unearthed the remains of a ship that had been buried for thousands of years. This place was named "Xianfang Cave". The Jin Dynasty was a historical period when the "Eight Kings Rebellion" occurred within the Sima ruling group. This triggered a large-scale immigration wave from the Central Plains, and the Pearl River Delta also welcomed batches of immigrants from the Central Plains.
