Where does Mengqian Village belong?

Meng Xi Community, located in the middle of Mengqian Town, is the political, economic and cultural center of Mengqian Town, and also the main market in the town and even the whole county, with a population of 3,898. The community is adjacent to Zhaigan Village in the east, Tongqianshan Village in the west, Aitun Village in the south and Anshan and Zhaiyuan Village in the north. The territory is low-lying, mostly river valley alluvial dams, with an altitude of 450-600 meters, a warm and rainy climate, short frost period and long sunshine time. Ganxi River, Macao River, the dam around the city and Pingnan River meet at Wenchang Pavilion, where the natural environment is superior and it is one of the main grain and oil producing areas and good living environment in the county.

The traffic in this area is very convenient. There are roads from Songtao to Yinjiang in the east and north, Mengqian Passenger Freight Station at the county level of Huai Yu Railway in the west, roads connecting Songtao towns such as Zhai Ying and Pujue in the west, and special roads leading directly to Dawu Manganese Mine in the south. Mengxi market town is one of the five major towns in eastern Guizhou. The construction of market towns began in the 25th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1668). At that time, Meng Xibao's squires Yang Tongkun and Yang Guanghui donated their ancestral "Ghost Hillside" wasteland to open the market, which has been open for more than 300 years. Community towns are divided into old urban areas and development zones (also known as new areas). After road hardening and illegal building renovation, the old city has formed an important business market. With the railway station as the center, the development zones in front of the station, such as parallel avenue, Fanjingshan avenue and Binjiang avenue, which have been built and under construction, have begun to take shape, forming the main skeleton of the main road of the new city. The four immigrant streets in the new area are arranged in an orderly manner, forming another residential highlight in the community.

There are shale brick factory, manganese powder processing factory, wood processing factory, furniture factory and other small industries in the community, which is one of the three major brick factories in the town. Commerce, transportation, construction, auto repair, catering and so on constitute the main industries of the community. Meng Xi Middle School, Agricultural Vocational Middle School, Central Primary School, Town Kindergarten and Red Sun Kindergarten form a community education center. Literary and artistic groups such as the Lantern Troupe, the Dragon Rolling Team and the Old Age Song and Dance Team have prospered the community cultural undertakings. Wenchang Pavilion Site, Six-Party Monument, Chengxin Monument, Songmao Academy and Meng Xi's famous eight scenic spots, such as misty rain mangrove, verdant Nanping, Gaodong Xiao Shu, Lingyun in the Hand, Fairy Palm reflecting the moon, Longquan Spring Deep, Two Rivers Dragging Blue and Singing Riverside, form a community cultural relic landscape group, which constitutes the west line of the county.

Mengqian Village is adjacent to Aitun Village, Meng Xi Community, Ganbagou Village, Taiping Village, Zhaikan Village, Tang Kai Village, Zhaiyuan Village, Yang Zhai Village, anshan village Village, Pingnan Village, Tongqian Village, Youpeng Village, Hongyan Village and Laowuchang Village.

There are ancient buildings in Zhaiying Village, Jiulong Cave in Tongren, a scenic spot in Wang Miao, and tourist attractions such as Qianlong Cave and Xiangshui Cave near Mengqian Village. There are special products such as pine peach tung oil, pine peach rotten buckwheat rice tofu, stewed duck with pine peach, Artemisia selengensis and purple potato.
