List of materials for applying for foreign academic degree certification

A two-inch color photo of certificate (blue background);

the original and photocopy of the degree certificate or higher education diploma in the foreign source language (the official language of the country issuing the certificate) to be certified;

the original and photocopy of the complete official transcripts of the courses that need to be certified as degree certificates or higher education diplomas; If the degree certificate is obtained through research, the original and photocopy of the official research letter issued by the school functional department (such as college, student registration department or student management department) should be provided, and the content of the research letter should indicate the start and end date of study (accurate to the month), professional name, research direction, degree awarded and other information;

the original Chinese translation of foreign degree certificates (higher education diplomas) and transcripts (research letters) that need to be certified (it must be translated by a regular translation agency (company), and personal translation is invalid);

the original and photocopy of the pre-qualification degree certificate or higher education diploma (use this certificate to apply for a foreign degree certificate course or higher education diploma course that needs certification);

originals and photocopies of all passports (including the first page-personal information page, the last page-my signature page, and all visa records and entry and exit records during the study abroad) of the applicant;

The original and photocopy of the Certificate of Returned Overseas Students issued by China's embassy (consulate) abroad;

authorization statement signed by the applicant (login/,download).

Other relevant certificates that need to be issued are (original and photocopy of the following materials are required):

If the passport is handed in or lost during the study abroad, please provide: (1) an explanation signed by the applicant that the passport cannot be submitted during the study abroad; (2) the first page of the new passport or the household registration book; (3) If the passport is handed in on business, please provide the official certificate and passport hand-in certificate; (4) In case of loss of private passport, please provide relevant certificates of study and residence (including residence time, visa type, etc.) in the diploma-issuing country during the study abroad, such as entry and exit records, social security certificates, and certificates of foreigners' registration and login.

applicants involved in cross-border education are required to submit high school graduation certificate, transcripts issued by mainland schools and proof of study experience (or certificate of completion);

if the applicant received a higher education in a domestic university before going abroad and did not obtain a diploma, he/she should submit the certificate of withdrawal issued by the university for the applicant. The "Certificate of Dropout" must specify that the applicant has received general (or adult) higher education (postgraduate or undergraduate, junior college (higher vocational)) in the university and dropped out of school for some reason;

overseas students sent by a unit or organization must provide the certificate of public study abroad issued by the sending unit and the list of public study abroad students. The contents of the certificate of public study abroad include the name of the public program, the start time, the batch, the number and basic situation of the dispatched personnel, the name of the receiving institution outside the country (territory), the major, the academic organization, etc. If the pre-departure training organized in China is involved, the training content (foreign language/basic courses/specialized courses/others), time, credit transfer and so on should be explained. The certificate and the list of students must be the original with the official seal of the unit;

those who have not yet obtained a degree certificate but hold a letter of confirmation from their school that they have obtained a degree need to translate the letter of confirmation and transcripts;

those who have obtained a degree certificate in Russian-speaking countries need to provide proof of preparatory course;

Those who study in Ireland and obtain a degree certificate from the National University of Ireland are required to provide a Latin version of the degree certificate.

To obtain a degree certificate in Estonia, certificates in English and Estonian are required;

those who obtain doctoral degree in thesis in Japan need to provide research certificates issued by Japanese universities. At the same time, provide the abstract of the main thesis and the title list of the sub-thesis of the applicant's degree application;

those who study in the United States and obtain a degree certificate are required to provide an I-2 form if they hold an F-1 visa; If you have a J-1 visa, you need to provide DS-219 form and the dispatch certificate of the relevant unit or project;

Returnees studying in Canada are required to submit a study permit)； issued by the Canadian Immigration Bureau;

Those who have obtained a degree certificate in the Philippines must submit the certification application materials in person at the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education; If the school is a national university, it must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines; If the school is a private university, it must be certified by the Philippine Higher Education Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

those who have obtained a degree certificate in South Africa, if they have obtained a National Diploma before, must submit the diploma together;

Some European countries must submit residence cards for studying abroad. If residence cards cannot be provided, they can be replaced by materials such as student ID cards and registration certificates.

Applicants for dual courses in Malaysia are required to submit transcripts or proof of study for the whole study period (including the dual course period) issued by Malaysian schools, as well as transcripts of dual courses of universities in third countries;

those who study abroad first obtain a Diploma in higher education, and further study on this basis to obtain a bachelor's degree, when applying for the bachelor's degree certification, they must submit the diploma in higher education and the transcripts of the study stage of the diploma in higher education, all visas (or endorsements) and entry and exit records during the study period;

If the qualifications applied for certification are not in line with the previous qualifications, relevant materials such as matriculation certificate, admission basis and work certificate shall be submitted;

18. If internship activities are completed in China during the study period, an internship contract or internship certificate recognized by the school shall be provided;

19. if someone else is entrusted to submit the certification application materials, the agent shall provide the power of attorney for submitting the certification application materials (for the template, please refer to "Important Notice and Document Download" on the homepage of the certification system) and the valid identity certificate of the agent. Note: An agent can only submit the application materials of one certification applicant.

the originals of all the above materials will be returned immediately after on-site inspection, and the copies will be kept by the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education.

special note: 1. the center is temporarily unable to accept the application for direct mailing of the original materials. Please don't send the original application materials to our center to avoid loss or other accidents.

2. In the process of submitting the certification application materials, the applicant should personally sign the authenticity and accuracy of the certification application information and materials, so please go to all the verification points in our center to go through the certification application procedures.
