Chengyang history

The Chengzi Longshan cultural site discovered in China confirmed that people lived here more than 4,000 years ago.

In Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Chengyang belonged to Lion.

In 567 BC, "Qi Hou destroyed Lai" and Chengyang returned to Qi.

During the Sixteen Kingdoms Period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Butch County had a changeable subordinate relationship, which successively belonged to the countries such as Houzhao, Yan Qian, Qianqin, Eastern Jin and Southern Yan.

In 556 AD (the seventh year of Tianbao in Northern Qi Dynasty), Buqi County was abolished and Changguang County was established.

In 596 AD (the 16th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty), Buqi County was rebuilt and abandoned soon, and its land was merged into the newly established Jimo County.

Since then, Chengyang lost its status as an independent administrative entity (county) and became a part of Jimo County.

During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Chengyang's subordinate relationship remained unchanged, and it still belonged to Jimo County, Laizhou.

After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Chengyang Society, Beiqu Society and Buqi Society were affiliated to Ren Xiang, Jimo County, and Liang Wenshe was affiliated to Renhua Township, Jimo County.

1392 (twenty-five years of Ming Hongwu), there were five military camps in Ren Xiang, Jimo County, Chengyang Society 1 Handling military households, which was one of the sources of surnames of residents in Chengyang area.

During Hongwu (1368- 1402) and Yongle (1403- 1425) of the Ming Dynasty, many foreign immigrants moved to Chengyang village.

When the Qing Dynasty attacked the Ming Dynasty, the affiliation of Chengyang Society, Beiqu Society, Buqi Society and Liangwen Society remained unchanged.

19 12, after the founding of the Republic of China, the township system was changed to district-township system. Chengyang Township and Buqi Township belong to Renhua District of Jimo County, and Liangwen Township belongs to Renhua District of Jimo County.

1928, Chengyang Township was changed to Chengyang Town.

In July, 1943, * * * Jimo County Committee established * * Jimo County Fifth District Committee and District Office, Chengyang Town, Buqi Township and Liangwen Township belong to the fifth democratic district.

1In August, 945, Chengyang Town, Buqi Township and Liangwen Township in Chengyang District of Jimo County were changed into democratic regimes.

1June, 949, Chengyang area was liberated, and * * Jimo County Committee established * * Chengyang Town Committee and Town Office, and Chengyang Town became an established town in Jimo County.

1950 Chengyang District of Jimo County abolished the organizational system of the seventh district of Jimo County, 1955 changed its name to Zhongcun District of Jimo County.

1956 In March, Chengyang Town and Zhongcun District of Jimo County merged to form Chengyang District of Jimo County, forming the current jurisdiction.

1958 In September, Jimo Chengyang People's Commune was established, belonging to Chengyang District.

196 1 In March, Chengyang People's Commune was transferred from Jimo to the suburb of Laoshan, Qingdao, and was renamed Yangshan People's Commune in Laoshan County in June.

1June, 984, the people's commune of Laoshan County was abolished and Chengyang Town of Laoshan County was established.

1988 65438+In February, it was renamed Chengyang Town, Laoshan District.

1May, 994, Chengyang District of Qingdao was established, and Chengyang Town was placed under Chengyang District.

On June 3rd, 200 1 year, Chengyang Town was abolished and Chengyang Sub-district Office was established.

In 20 13, Qingdao Hongdao Economic Zone (High-tech Zone) was established according to the administrative planning of Qingdao, and Hongdao Street and Hetao Street in Chengyang District were designated as Hongdao Economic Zone (High-tech Zone). There are now six streets under the jurisdiction of Chengyang District, namely Chengyang, Liuting, xia zhuang, Xifu Town, Jihongtan and Ma Shang Street.
