Ma Lin, 1980, was born on February 9th in Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He is a player of China men's table tennis team and currently the head coach of China's national table tennis team.

1996 Asian Cup men's singles champion, Asian Championships mixed doubles champion, men's singles third. 1997 runner-up in men's singles at the US Open, fifth in men's doubles at the World Table Tennis Championships, and champion in men's singles at the Asian Cup. 1998 champion of men's team and men's doubles in Asian Championship, champion of men's singles in Malaysian Open, runner-up in men's singles in China and Lebanese Open, and fifth in men's singles in World Cup.
