Is Sanmenxia the only place in Henan Province that doesn't speak Henan dialect? Why?

Sanmenxia is indeed a wonderful area, because it is the junction of three provinces, so the accent is very different from Henan dialect. Not only that, the accents of people in the counties under the jurisdiction of Sanmenxia are also quite different. For example, in Shanzhou, which borders Pinglu County, Shanxi Province, their accents are similar. The people in Mianchi County, which are not far apart, all speak the same, but there are obvious differences among the locals. Lingbao County, which borders Shaanxi Province, has an accent very close to that of Shaanxi people, but it is quite different from that of Shaanxi people, and even foreigners can easily distinguish it. Lushi County, which borders Nanyang, has a completely different accent. If you go to Sanmenxia City, there are still many people who speak Henan dialect because of the large foreign population. Sanmenxia can hear four completely different accents: Shaanxi dialect, Lingbao dialect, Lushi dialect and Henan dialect.

However, Sanmenxia is not the only region that does not speak Henan dialect. In Xinyang in the south of Henan Province, especially in the south of Xinyang, people's accents are quite different from those of Henan dialect, and they are closer to the southern accent. Because I have lived in Xinyang for 10 years and Sanmenxia for 30 years, I should know something. To tell the truth, Sanmenxia is a good place!

I was born and raised in Sanmenxia, and I am very concerned about the accent of Sanmenxia people. Share it with you here, please correct me.

Sanmenxia City was established in the late 1950s with the construction of Sanmenxia Water Control Project on the Yellow River. From the beginning, it was designated as a prefecture-level city, and the level of leading cadres was higher. At that time, China supported the construction of Sanmenxia Dam with the help of the whole country. The word Sanmenxia is very beautiful and often appears in People's Daily, and people all over the country are paying attention to it. After the completion of the dam, most of the builders from all over the country 1 1 settled in Sanmenxia. Most of them speak Mandarin and live on both sides of huanghe road. Later, the country moved from Shanghai and other places to the equipment factory, measuring instrument factory and original instrument factory, and Shanghai Mandarin was added to the accent of Sanmenxia people. Later, with the rise of gold mining, a mine shaft repair shop was built in the south of Sanmenxia Station, a mining machinery factory was built in the south of Liu Feng Road, and a hydraulic machinery factory was built in the north. Most of the technicians were transferred from the northeast, and the accent of Sanmenxia people added Northeast dialect.

There is another saying near the suburb of Sanmenxia, which we call "local dialect". It is said that this statement comes from the ancient city of Shaanxi. If you don't speak, the local dialect means why don't you read and go to the city. The local dialect is a new city. With the continuous expansion of urban area, local dialects can often be heard in cities now.

Kannonji, Mianchi and Yima in the east of the urban area speak different languages, which are close to Luoyang dialect but not Luoyang dialect, while Lingbao dialect in the west of the urban area is close to Shaanxi dialect.

What I'm saying now has a Henan accent, and it's not Mandarin. Middle-aged people in Sanmenxia basically say so. My classmates live in Xi 'an and often tell me that what I say now is the same as what Henan people say in Xi 'an.

With the continuous improvement of education level and cultural quality, and the country's vigorous promotion of speaking Mandarin, young people in urban areas basically speak Mandarin.

I go to school in No.1 Middle School, No.3 Middle School and No.1 Middle School respectively. There are Shanghainese and Northeasters in my class, and they get along very well. Some students still associate with each other.

No matter what you say, the people of Sanmenxia, the Pearl of the Yellow River, have an inclusive heart. People from all over the country are building and living in this beautiful swan city. May Sanmenxia develop faster and faster, and the people live and work in peace and contentment, and become more and more happy!

Sanmenxia is a newly-built city after liberation 1956. In order to solve the flood of the Yellow River, the leaders of New China decided to build the first dam of the Yellow River. Sanmenxia Dam, built on the Yellow River Rapids Canyon, is the "three gates" of "human gate, divine gate and ghost gate". So it was named Sanmenxia. In order to support the construction of Sanmenxia dam, the first batch of water conservancy project builders were arranged all over the country, which was then the Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources. (Later changed to Eleventh Water Conservancy Engineering Bureau). In 1950s, many workers' families were arranged in Da 'an Village, Sanmenxia City (commonly known as Xincheng). At that time, it was a wasteland without crops. Three main roads and asphalt roads were built in the center, bungalows were built in the new town, and family buildings and office buildings of the Engineering Bureau were built along both sides of huanghe road. At that time, tens of thousands of people on the construction site, their families and children all spoke dialects all over the country, and there were language barriers in work, life and study. Going to a classmate's house to play, her mother chattered like she was scolding her, and she didn't understand. At that time, the country advocated speaking Mandarin. Teachers and students in our kindergarten and school all speak Mandarin. Because of the dam, local farmers emigrated. The new towns are basically people from the Water Conservancy Bureau. Speaking Putonghua is the symbol of people in the Engineering Bureau. So most people in Sanmenxia speak Mandarin. Later, with the development of society, the eight major enterprises, businesses and service industries in Sanmenxia City developed and expanded, and local farmers joined in. Many people spoke the local dialect (also called this).

Sanmenxia, formerly known as Shanzhou, is a city formed during the construction of Sanmenxia Dam, which has the same nature as Gezhouba City. At that time, there were a large number of migrants, and they took root here after a long time. The people who speak Henan dialect in Sanmenxia are basically from Laoshan, and those who speak Mandarin are basically moved abroad. In addition, it is located in a special position. The language family at the junction of Shanxi and Shaanxi is biased towards Shaanxi, including Yuncheng accent biased towards Shaanxi, Weinan, Yuncheng and Sanmenxia. Basically, the tone and speed of the local dialect are similar, and the speech is similar. To the east of Sanmenxia, the flavor of Henan dialect is stronger to the east and stronger to the west. In fact, there are many local language families in Sanmenxia. After all, there are people all over the world here. Disadvantages, please advise!

Most parts of Henan belong to Central Plains Mandarin, and all dialects in this area have great similarities, while Central Plains Mandarin is divided into more than a dozen districts, and Sanmenxia is also divided into three districts, namely Fenhe District, Guanzhong District and Luosong District, which shows that Sanmenxia dialect and most parts of Henan can be regarded as a class, but there are great differences from district to district.

Sanmenxia is located in the west of Henan province, and its dialect is different from that of central Henan, eastern Henan and southern Henan. Even many people in these areas can't understand Sanmenxia dialect. I also have several classmates and friends in Sanmenxia. To be honest, I don't understand many words. However, influenced by geographical location, Sanmenxia dialect is closest to western Luoyang and Jiyuan dialect, both of which are part of Henan.

Although many people don't understand Sanmenxia dialect, many appellations are the same as those in central Henan, such as "dustpan", "colander" and "grain heap", but the pronunciation is very different from that in central Henan.

In short, Sanmenxia, as a prefecture-level city in Henan, naturally speaks Henan dialect, with different sounds and customs in ten miles, which also reflects the profoundness of dialect culture.

The whole of Henan, as well as parts of Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Anhui belong to a large language family.

I come from Sanmenxia. Sanmenxia is an immigrant city. Four languages are spoken in the downtown area (we all call it Street). The 11th Engineering Bureau mainly speaks Mandarin, while small factories, businesses and service industries mainly speak Henan dialect. Northeast dialect mainly includes mining plants, gold companies and smelters. Also, the dialect here is spoken by people in the nearby suburbs. Sanmenxia people are mostly outsiders, and there are not many people here, so Sanmenxia people never lie to strangers.

Places in Henan Province that don't speak Henan dialect: First of all, Jiaozuo counts as one. Everything spoken in Jiaozuo, including the following counties and districts, is in Shanxi accent. Luoning county in Luoyang also speaks a little. Sanmenxia speaks a lot of Henan dialect, but when it comes to Lingbao, it is completely incomprehensible. Shangqiu Zhoukou in the east, including Puyang Xinxiang, Henan dialect is authentic, Nanyang in the south is Henan dialect, and Henan dialect in Xinyang city is a little weird, but it is ok. Speaking of Xinxian County, it's a bit like Hubei dialect. Basically, Henan dialect is spoken in the south and east, and the north is influenced by Shanxi. What Jiyuan Jiaozuo said is a bit biased. Lingbao County in the west is like Shaanxi dialect.

It's very simple, because there was no division of Sanmenxia City in the past, only Sanmenxia Dam had Sanmenxia City.

After the Northern Wei Dynasty made Shaanxi its capital, it continued until the Ming and Qing Dynasties. During the Republic of China, it belonged to Yuxi Road and Heluo Road, and later it was changed to the eleventh administrative supervision area of Henan Province. Before and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, there was Shaanxi Commissioner's Office. 1952, Shaanxi secret service merged with Luoyang secret service. Sanmenxia is affiliated to Luoyang Commissioner's Office. 1957 In March, the State Council approved the establishment of Sanmenxia City, which is directly under the jurisdiction of Henan Province. Shaanxi accent basically belongs to North Taihang Jin dialect, which is basically consistent with Pinglu pronunciation in Shanxi.

Henan has a complicated accent, and even Sanmenxia has two accents: Lingbao (Shaanxi), Sanmenxia (Shanxi), Anyang (Hebei) and Linxian (the original sound of ancient Chinese). This aspect shows the inclusiveness of Yuzhou Central Plains.

The dialect here is a local language and is not influenced by foreigners! In fact, I think Sanmenxia dialect is a relatively complete language with ancient pronunciation. Most people in Sanmenxia speak Mandarin, also because major enterprises have basically moved from Shanghai, Northeast China and other places. Everyone in Sanmenxia knows this truth. A good foundation of Putonghua has created many well-known hosts in Henan, such as Guan Feng, the host of Liyuan Spring on Henan Satellite TV, and Xiangxiang Cuisine on Minsheng Channel. There are many provincial radio stations, and I know there are five or six hosts and announcers. However, when I returned to Sanmenxia many years later, I obviously felt that there were more people speaking local dialects on the street, indicating that the population outflow was serious. The above is my humble opinion, welcome criticism!
