The only Dai township in Sichuan

From the mountains around Panshan Highway in Wande Township, Wuding County, Yunnan Province to Jinsha River, the altitude difference is about 1200m. Unsuitable students will have slight tinnitus. However, standing by the river and being blown by the river wind, looking at the sparkling river, my head is dizzy and refreshed. On the other side of the river is Ma 'an Village, Xindian Township, Huili County, Sichuan Province. There are motor barges going back and forth between the two banks.

? Thanks to the local friends, they took us to this country road that is rarely known by outsiders, and then crossed the border by boat. The first time from Yunnan to Sichuan, crossing the river by boat was very fresh. It takes about half an hour to get to Ma 'an Village by ferry. The coastal mountains are well-defined and there are almost no plants on the surface. They are composed of different shades of yellow, red, ochre and brown horizontal stripes. From a distance, they have the artistic conception of Chinese painting landscapes. At that time, I thought it was a very suitable place for painters to collect scenery. Spreading ink and wash in a natural picture should have more charm.

When you first see Ma 'an Village, you will think it is a resort. All the houses in the village are single-family villas. According to local friends, this is a new immigrant village and the housing is planned and built by the government. Xin 'an Township is also the only Dai township in Sichuan. Ma 'an Village looks very quiet in the scorching sun. The small Ma 'an Village is surrounded by mountains and quietly located on the Jinsha River. Brand-new houses, with bare mountains as the background, always seem a bit desolate.

We visited several Dai families. The hosts were warm and the air conditioning was cool. We were also lucky enough to have an authentic Dai family banquet and a homemade glutinous rice wine. The Dai cuisine here is different from Banna's style, but it is also refreshing and not greasy, which is very appetizing. In the brand-new home of fellow villagers, we also saw an old loom, which looked quite contemporary. There are also foreign homestays in the village. The conditions are simple, but every room has air conditioning.

When I was wandering in the village, I saw a circular square by the river. The retired village party secretary said it was built for the Songkran Festival, and it was not finished yet. It is expected to be used at the Songkran Festival in April next year. When I took photos at the edge of the square, I naturally jumped out of the name Moon Square. Later, I always thought that I would jump out of the words "Moon Square" at the same time, as if it was originally "Moon Square", but this square has not been named yet, so I will call it Moon Square. Looking forward to the Water-splashing Festival in Moon Square next year. If there is an opportunity, I hope to get wet once. At least I haven't been to an authentic water-splashing festival.

When I left, I left with the enthusiasm of my friends, the golden and sweet thoughts of mango trees when they were ripe, and of course the expectation of the Water-splashing Festival.

? This short trip is not amazing, but it is also chic. I am grateful for the leadership and enthusiasm of my friends along the way.
