Do British people hate American English?

America is a country of immigrants. After the immigrants from European countries drove and slaughtered the local aborigines, they settled here and became colonies of European countries. Thirteen States in North America, the predecessor of modern America, are British colonies. Because of tax and other contradictions, they broke away from Britain's independence, and then took other countries' colonies in North America as their own by force and diplomatic purchase, forming the present United States.

Except for the black people who were sold into slavery, most immigrants from the United States came from Britain, France, Germany and Spain, among which Britain had the most immigrants, followed by Germany and France. Most of Britain and Germany are Nordic (there are many in France), so they look more alike.

As for the language problem, it can only be said that there are idiots in any country who hate "other languages similar to their own but not exactly the same", just as there are few idiots who communicate with each other because of dialect problems in China. However, there are other historical factors that British people hate American English. For example, some British people think that the United States is just a "slave rebellion" and American English is the language of vulgar peasant upstarts. Similarly, some people in the United States will think that Britain is a stubborn "feudal remnant" and so on.
