How many people fled from Shanxi to Henan?

The great migration of 930,000 people in Shanxi with a population of over one million created the largest and widest migration in the history of our country, among which 930,000 people migrated to Henan, from1July 1942 to1spring 1943. Shanxi, referred to as "Jin" for short, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC). Taiyuan, the capital, is located in North China, bordering Hebei in the east, Shaanxi in the west, Henan in the south and Inner Mongolia in the north.
