The construction of Pingtan Strait Bridge in Fuzhou is of positive significance for improving the provincial road network layout, improving the traffic conditions of Pingtan Island, promoting the coordinated development of regional economy and society, and improving the national defense traffic support capacity. Therefore, it is necessary to build Pingtan Strait Bridge in Fuzhou.

The Work Feasibility Report uses the OD survey data of expressway and uses the four-stage traffic volume forecasting method to forecast the traffic volume. Three. Construction scheme, scale and technical standards
(1) The proposed Pingtan Strait Bridge starts from Xiaoqing Mountain in Fuqing, crosses Haitan Strait and ends at Pingtan Niangniang Palace. The bridge location scheme recommended in the Work Feasibility Report is parallel to provincial highway 305, with short wiring and low investment, and we agree with the recommended bridge location scheme. (2) In order to meet the needs of economic development and regional traffic growth, the construction standard of Pingtan Strait Bridge in Fuzhou recommended by the Work Feasibility Report is agreed, that is, the second-class highway standard is adopted, the design speed is 80 km/h, the non-motor vehicle lanes are taken into account, the bridge deck width is 17 m, and the connecting subgrade is the same width as the bridge deck; Under the bridge, 5000-ton seagoing ships can be navigable (subject to the standards approved by the Ministry of Communications). The design load of the bridge adopts highway level 1. Other technical indicators shall be implemented according to Technical Standard for Highway Engineering (JTGB01-2003) promulgated by the Ministry of Communications.
(3) The bridge A scheme recommended in the Feasibility Study Report has certain comparative advantages. In the next stage of design, we should further optimize the bridge type scheme, fully absorb the current advanced bridge construction concept and construction technology level, take into account the landscape requirements, and further deepen the special research on the requirements of wind resistance, earthquake resistance, collision avoidance and durability of bridges.
Four. Related design scheme
(1) Please ask the owner to cooperate with the design unit to study the water pipes and wires on both sides of the bridge.
(2) In the next stage of design, the Haitan Strait Passage of the proposed bridge should further implement the special requirements for typhoon prevention and corrosion protection of the cross-sea bridge.
(3) The construction technology of Strait Bridge is complex, so we should fully learn from the construction experience of other bridges at home and abroad, and further improve the construction organization scheme and technical scheme.
